Simon Diaz is a Hollywood based photographer who contacted me through a casting he posted on ModelManagement.com (for that reason this Modeling Community is a vital part of the story). Simon was looking for a model to shoot during his holidays in Barcelona, everything went so well that we even worked a second time together during these days. I must say that for a long time I’ve been willing to travel to the United States, and right after I met Simon I decided to plan my trip!

Once there, we did some more photo shoots, one of them in Venice Beach. My trip to the United States lasted 20 days and I had the pleasure of visiting places such as Miami, Los Angeles and New York. The pictures are from Venice Beach in California, I took some others in Los Angeles, and the Matador Beach in Malibú, the most fabulous beach I’ve seen in my life!

I also had the chance to work with the photographer Rachel Lauren and her husband; they are part of a community called Ironwoodwolves. They work with real wolves defending that they are an essential part of our ecosystem. I got in contact with her because I fell in love with their work. I must say it was an unforgettable experience, taking pictures with a wolf in a place like this.

I left United States with some business cards and I got the chance to meet several modeling agencies, and the best part is that I ended up being represented by an American agency! I made many new contacts and I will definitely go back as I have some pending work to do there, I hope I’ll be able to work all over the world!
